About John Overholser

John lives in West Virginia with his wife, Brooke, and two sons and is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their daughter!

John enjoys working with the Top To Bottom Services family so much that he makes the long commute every day and says, “meeting so many different people and seeing so many different homes” is what intrigues him about being an inspector.  In particular, John says he is a big fan of inspecting historic and log homes.

“I never feel like I’ve seen it all and am constantly making new discoveries all the time. It keeps me on my toes and gives me something to discuss with the team so that everyone can learn from my experience.”

Experience

John started inspecting under his own company in 2011, but has been working with Top To Bottom Services since 2013; currently he holds the dual title of Building Consultant and Ancillary Services Manager. John has inspected thousands of homes in MD, VA, DC, and WV, and is NRPP certified as a radon measurement specialist; as the Ancillary Services Manager, John runs the Top To Bottom Services certified radon lab.
